Tax Tip For Extra Deductions During Holiday Season

Just popping in to wish you a Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas.

I know this time of year is a bit crazy - between the day after Christmas shopping and deals, plus trying to get those final business receipts organized before the year ends.

Since we get asked enough, yes make sure to make those last minute deductible expenses. Double-check that Amazon cart before December 31st and buy if you want those business supplies to count for 2024. Nothing worse than realizing that office printer you ordered was actually bought on January 2nd and counts for next year's taxes. Just a quick heads up from your friendly tax guy :)

Quick break from tax talk though - JT and I have taken a few days to recharge, eat In N Out while visiting our Mom in LA, and rack up those credit card points for something next year.

And then soon, we'll be back next week with your regularly scheduled and entertaining tax tips, either next week or after the new year

Fair warning - January's about to get wild with tax forms showing up in your mailbox.... W2s, 1099s, 1098s, 1095s, yeah all that stuff. Keep an eye out for our next email about what to do with them as we head into tax season.

Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas and we'll talk soon.
