Asking Google How To Lower Your Taxes

Saw these open tabs the other day on a client’s laptop and it made me laugh…

  • "how to pay less taxes small business"

  • "tax loopholes 2025"

  • "secret tax deductions"

So I said you know Brandon (that's not his real name) you can just ask us.

Now, I get it. Nobody wants to pay more taxes than they have to. Me neither

But here's the problem with Googling tax advice: You're gonna find a lot of "one weird trick" nonsense that either: a) Doesn't actually work b) Is straight-up illegal c) Costs more to implement than it saves.

Want to know what ACTUALLY saves money on taxes?

  • Clean books (boring but crucial)

  • Planning BEFORE you spend money

  • Understanding what you can and can't write off

  • Having documentation for everything

That's it. No secrets. No weird tricks. Just boring, basic tax compliance done right. And your neighborhood friendly accountants, you know we go crazy for clean books and accounting throughout the year.

Also? Most "tax-saving strategies" you read about online assume you're making consistent six-figure profits. If you're not there yet, a lot of this advice might cost you more than it saves.

Are you looking for a new tax preparer for this year? We've got a few open spots and soon you'll get some info on it. Thanks and talk to you soon
