Best Time To Meet With Your CPA

When's the last time you met with your tax advisor? Or maybe, how often are you meeting with them? 

Let me guess... just once a year when you file your returns. And unfortunately that's very common. Think about it, you get your car inspected every few months. You have someone deep clean your house every now and then. You're supposed to go to the dentist a couple times a year (although I'm way behind on that one haha).

And taxes should be the same. Hopefully you're meeting with your tax guy at least a couple times a year and if you're not... you're not YET.

Last week, this week, and the rest of august, we're meeting with all our VIPs and going over their tax situation for 2025. Some owe big, some a little. Regardless, the most important thing is getting an update and making sure to avoid any surprises tax wise. For our VIPs we'll probably meet in October/November as well and do the same thing.

Hopefully you're getting that with your current CPA as well. Are you?
