Unique Tax Advice For All Tax Payers
What's the best money and financial advice you've ever gotten? And that could be from your patents, Dave Ramsey, J Cole, whoever.... best financial advice you've gotten?
And if you're not sure yet, that's totally cool. In fact, i'd be surprised if something came to mind immediately because it seems like most people are nervous to talk about money, so much so that clients have told us "you know more about my money than my husband/wife."
First, we appreciate the trust and confidence they and you have put in us. Second, yeah, thinking about it, if the only person you're talking about money with is your accountant, then yeah, i could see why we know more about their financial situations and they look to us for guidance.
So when we do meet with clients, we try and ask their goals, short and long term. Right, one client told us they want to get a rental property so we told them not to put a bunch of money into their retirement because that takes away from cash available for a downpayment/mortgage qualification.
And when we end calls with clients, a lot of times, JT will say something an old boss used to say to clients as well... and it's a great piece of advice for everyone and we got it on camera once here, https://www.instagram.com/p/CvqD_p4Nkun/
JT loves to say to clients when signing off, "Thanks and Go Make Money!"
As dumb as it sounds, yeah... go make money! I mean, that's why we're all here, no? Here's that video again, https://www.instagram.com/p/CvqD_p4Nkun/
Talk to you next time, thanks and go make money!
